Trauer und Bestürzung über Angriff in Las Vegas

Wir sind tief erschüttert über diese grausame Tat. Unschuldige Menschen, die fröhlich bei einem Konzert feiern wollten, wurden Opfer dieses brutalen Angriffs. Unser tiefes Mitgefühl gilt den Angehörigen und Freunden der Opfer, den vielen Verletzten wünschen wir baldige und vollständige Genesung.

    At least one gunman opened fire on an outdoor country music concert near Mandalay Bay. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said the shooter was a local resident of the Las Vegas area and that he likely acted alone.

    MGM Resorts International said in a statement locked down many of its nearby hotels due to the spreading chaos along the southern end of the Strip, per the advice of law enforcement.

    Country music star Jason Aldean was performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival when the gunfire erupted. University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in people with gunshot wounds.

    At least one gunman opened fire on an outdoor country music concert near Mandalay Bay. More than 20 people have been killed and well in excess of 100 were injured in a shooting on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night police said. Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said the shooter was a local resident of the Las Vegas area and that he likely acted alone.
